Privacy Policy: Otter Ice Breakers

Otter Ice Breakers ("the game", "we") is a casual idle game for Android (and later iOS). This policy explains what data the game and the services it uses handle.

1. No account, local save

• The game has no user account and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
• Your progress is saved only on your device (in the app's local storage). We do not run our own servers and do not receive your save. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes the save.

2. Advertising: Google AdMob

The game offers optional rewarded ads: an ad only plays when you tap a button such as "Watch ad: x2", and you get a reward for watching it. Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.).

To show and measure ads, the AdMob SDK may collect and process: - your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers, - device information (model, operating system, language, screen size), - your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, - ad interactions (ads shown, taps, how long an ad was watched) and diagnostic data (crashes, performance).

Through Google's ad mediation, other ad networks may compete to show an ad (for example AppLovin, Unity Ads, Liftoff, Mintegral, Meta Audience Network, Pangle). The networks enabled at any time receive similar data under their own privacy policies and the same consent choices.

Your choices:
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the game shows Google's consent form on first start. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings > Privacy choices. - You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads). - If you bought Remove Ads, no ad videos are played at all (rewards are granted directly).

3. In-app purchases: Google Play and RevenueCat

You can buy optional items (gem packs, a Starter Pack, Remove Ads). Payments are handled entirely by Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iOS). We never see your payment card or billing details.

To verify purchases and restore them on a new device, the game uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). RevenueCat receives: - an anonymous app user ID generated by the app (not linked to your name or email), - purchase information: which product, when, price and currency, the store transaction ID and receipt / purchase token, - basic device and app information (app version, operating system, country / store region).

4. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not collect precise (GPS) location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data.
• We do not use any analytics service of our own.

5. Children

On first launch the game asks for your year of birth (it is stored only on your device). If it shows you are under 13, ads are requested as child-directed and non-personalised, with child-safe content, and no tracking permission is requested.

The game is not directed at children under 13 (the store listing targets ages 13 and up). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through the services above, contact us at mabenostudio@gmail.com and we will help you request deletion from the respective provider.

6. Data retention and deletion

• Local save: stays on your device until you delete the app or its data.
• AdMob: retained by Google according to its policies. You can reset your advertising ID at any time.
• RevenueCat: purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide restores and for legal / accounting reasons. To ask for deletion of the purchase records linked to your anonymous ID, email mabenostudio@gmail.com. (Store transactions themselves are kept by Google / Apple.)

7. Security

All data the game's services send travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA / CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests are handled by Google and RevenueCat; email us at mabenostudio@gmail.com and we will help.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
